GREEN CELTIC BAND |
Village
Green is a group of three women who have played music
together in various combinations for years, who finally
all joined forces to pursue a common love for the
living tradition of folk music. Village Green specializes
in Celtic music, but branches out into a wide range
of styles. |
| Laura
Zaerr
grew up in Corvallis and received her musical
training at the University of Oregon and the
Eastman School of Music in New York. While
travelling widely, she is locally active as
a teacher. In the band, Laura has the opportunity

pennywhistle and the bodhrán as well
as keeping her voice in shape. |

Colorado to study at OSU, has been active in
local music organizations such as the OSU Symphony
and the St. Mary's church choir and directing
their bell choir. In addition to being the
band's resident fiddler, Kathryn doubles on
guitar, recorders, bodhran and vocals. |

composers and performers. She has toured Europe
as the principal flutist with a collegiate
wind ensemble, and has performed and recorded
